How to play Tilovia: your first week on the farm

Everything in Tilovia grows out of one bed and one decision: what to plant. Here is the shortest path from an empty field to a farm that pays for itself.

The first thing worth knowing is what the game does not do. There is no energy bar, so you can never run out of turns. There is no countdown pushing you to come back within ten minutes. What you plant grows in its own time, and it waits for you.

That changes how you should play. In a game with an energy bar the right move is to spend every point before logging off. Here the right move is to leave the field full when you stop: a bed planted before bed is a bed harvested in the morning.

Day one. Tap a plot, pick a seed from the tray, and drag your finger across the rest of the bed. Fast crops are worth planting at the start not because they pay well but because each harvest gives experience, and experience unlocks everything else.

Watch the road, not the shop. Buyers walk past your farm with bubbles over their heads showing what they want. Those bubbles are your real order book: planting what somebody is already asking for turns a harvest into coins the same day. A crop nobody wants just sits in the pantry.

When to spend. Coins early on are best spent on seeds, and then on opening the next bed. More beds means more crops per hour, and that compounds; a single expensive upgrade does not.

The tractor plants and harvests a whole bed with one drag. It is bought once and works on every farm you own. If you are not sure yet, there is a timed trial you unlock by watching an ad.

The town is where the money is. Businesses post orders and the cheapest offer wins, so you are bidding against other players. The produce exchange shows what every buyer in town wants and pays on one screen — look there before you decide what to plant next, not after.

The mistake that costs the most time is planting the slowest, highest-value crop as soon as it unlocks. A twelve-hour crop is only worth it if you are actually away for twelve hours. Match the crop to when you will next open the game.

Once the farm pays for itself, the rest of the game opens up: the train, guilds, the mine and the artifacts that permanently strengthen your farm. The guide covers each of those in order.
